“The YTT at YogaLab was science-based and helped me understand why (and why not) we practice poses the way we do, and how activating certain muscle groups in the right way can make a practice both safer and more effective. “It was a great experience to take my RYS-200 Training with such an amazing group of teachers at Yoga Lab. The training provides in-depth understanding on yoga anatomy, philosophy, asanas, teaching skills, meditation and breathing practice. The readings and “omworks” are very helpful for me to build on my knowledge in yoga. Teachers are knowledgeable and very supportive. Throughout the training, I felt every class and every homework I did were just like a building blocks, which created a solid foundation for my future yoga career. I like the way how the teachers incorporate the teaching skill since the beginning of the training. At first, we were asked to teach Sun Salutation to our classmates, then we wrote our small sequences and taught it to each other. “The Yoga Lab was an excellent place to get my yoga training. I had studied anatomy pretty closely in my college courses but I learned even more with the teachers at yoga lab. Their unique set up of 5 training teacher with 5 unique talents is a huge bonus. They are all consistent in their messaging but give you a good variety of focuses during your training. I also loved our philosophy discussions and felt like I grew as a person. Even if I didn't want to teach, the lessons and peace I experience on a daily basis would have been worth it!
