Kristen Boccumini

Yoga Lab Co-Founder

Kristen is a yoga teacher, life coach, prenatal and postpartum corrective exercise specialist, stress management instructor, cofounder of Yoga Lab, and mom of four. Kristen teaches yoga from a biomechanical perspective to support a healthy functional moving body on the mat and in everyday life. In her classes, explore alignment in body, breath, mind, and spirit and move dynamically with conscious intention bringing embodied lessons from the mat into life. Turning conscious awareness into action, off the mat Kristen co-founded the annual fundraising event Yoga on the Mountain after a year-long campaign fundraising for Off the Mat Into the World's Global Seva Challenge. This accomplishment invited Kristen on a humanitarian trip to Uganda and is featured in the documentary film Yoga Woman. Kristen teaches for the Kinesiology Department at Penn State where she has earned several awards in Teaching Excellence. Kristen is also faculty for the for the LYT Level 2 training program for her specialty in yoga pregnancy and postpartum. Aside from teaching her regular classes, Kristen is currently focused on providing 1:1 sessions for individuals looking to strengthen their core and pelvic floor or looking to resolve diastasis recti, pelvic floor issues, hip and back pain, and more, particularly those in pregnancy and postpartum.
