Emily Hayne

Emily enjoys facilitating opportunities for people to build meaningful relationships to people and place. She has her M.A. in environmental education and loves witnessing learners experience awe, curiosity, and joy in outdoor spaces. Emily is currently a Ph.D. candidate, earning a dual degree in recreation, park, and tourism management and human dimensions of natural resources and the environment where she is grateful to study human relationships with the environment.

Emily is a graduate of the Yoga Lab 200 hour yoga teacher training and is excited to contribute to the a Yoga Lab community as a teacher. She believes movement of body, calming of thoughts, recognition of emotions, and caring for spirit are all healthful conponents of her yoga practice and classes. Furthering her own practice of self love and care, Emily enjoys long walks, nature journaling, and having access to lakes to canoe, swim, and witness the wonders of water.
