For all levels, and beginner friendly, to establish a solid foundation for working on inversions or grow from your current place of practice.
In this workshop we’ll explore the anatomy and muscular engagement involved in inversions, as well as common compensations and areas often in need of strengthening to cultivate effortless ease in the body. Explore tips, tricks, and drills for increasing awareness, coordination, and integration as you build upon each progressive phase and breakthrough plateaus to elevate to the next level. Such postures are also valuable teachers, and together we’ll reflect on the common fears and trepidations as well as the desire and intrigue to learn and develop the skills for inversions like handstand and forearm balance. Most of all, we’ll have fun and learn a ton to take home into practice and life.
This workshop qualifies for Yoga Alliance CEU credits.
